After being rescued from street life by a real-life hero, a small dog was left stunned.
The little dog was wandering aimlessly through the streets of Los Angeles, alone and without someone to take care of him, when he collided with two police officers.
At his small feet, the cub decided to pray for help and rushed towards them.
Officers Mercado and Tavera felt they had to save the poor little sweetheart as soon as they spotted him.
He was clearly in desperate need of someone to love and protect him, and he was much too young to find it.
The cops scooped up the puppy and returned to the station with him.
The dog was nestled up on Officer Tavera’s lap on the way over, and he couldn’t stop looking with adoration at his rescuers.
Hobart was taken to the police station and granted the honorary title of K-9.
Everyone at the station was smitten with the adorable puppy, and Hobart relished the attention.
But, at the end of the day, he was focused on one person in particular: Mercado.
Fortunately for Hobart, Mercado chose to adopt him and make him the happiest little dog on the planet.
