A Man Transforms His Front Yard Into A Mini Zoo For Wild Animals

True animal enthusiasts would go to great lengths to obtain a cuddly companion. James Vreeland, a Detroiter, is one of them. He has always been fascinated by the wild creatures that frequented his porch. James always made sure to feed the birds and squirrels.

However, the Detroit-based guy decided to surprise its guests because he had a lot of spare time owing to his self-isolation.

James utilized his spare time and creativity to create a cute little café for the local wildlife just in front of his home. The restaurant is complete with little picnic table-bench sets, a coatroom, and a miniature menu for the adorable animals. A little squirrel statue stands nearby, carrying a sack of nuts.

Needless to mention everyone is welcomed without a reservation. Well, as long as we’re talking about furry or plumage guests, of course! And since such a stylish restaurant could only have a french fancy name, James named it – Maison du Noix (The Nut House).

“We’ve been serving a seed medley as an appetizer, followed by full-shelled peanuts, house-cut bread sticks, and a counter-softened apple dessert,” James told The Dodo.

And, guess what, the lovely little critters enjoyed it so much that they began to flock to the restaurant in large numbers soon after the grand opening. “It’s been a hit with the squirrels and blue jays,” the ‘owner’ added. Take a peek at:
