Normally, wild animals shun human contact, but in this case, a cougar sought out people to assist him, which saved its life! The emaciated animal was on the verge of death, but because to her senses, she was able to find her way to a wildlife rehabilitation facility.

A wild cougar wandered onto the grounds of the Center Valley Animal Rescue in Quilcene, Texas, a few weeks ago, leaving rescuers perplexed. But it wasn’t until they drew closer that they noticed the wild cat was in serious peril. As things began to look good, she was famished, and only a miracle could have spared her.

Sara Penhallegon, the rehab center’s director, stated, “She checked herself into rehabilitation, which is a first for us.” “We all felt she was going to die because of her condition.”

However, the animal was fortunate enough to come across that kind, dedicated individual. The almost one-year-old cougar was in critical condition, but Sara and her colleagues were able to save her. The gorgeous kitten is on the mend now, weeks after her life was cut short by a tread.

Sara explained, “And so it was this wonderful den.” “I believe it went in there to die… As a result, we just happened to come upon it at the right time and began the repair procedure.”

The cougar’s rehabilitation will continue since she is too young to be put back into the wild. The animal was most likely orphaned when her mother died, leaving her extremely vulnerable. Sara explained, “She hadn’t learned to hunt yet.” “She had no method of taking care of herself…but happily, she was able to check herself into a rehabilitation center.”
