Fernanda Rouvenat, a Brazilian television news reporter, was on the air the other day when she observed someone enthusiastically approaching from the corner of her eye, just off camera.
It was a little dog that was adamant about not being neglected.

“She started pinching and licking my foot all of a sudden,” Rouvenat told The Dodo. “I couldn’t keep myself in check!” “I burst out laughing!”
Rather than continuing with her planned broadcast, the brave reporter chose to take a break and play with the dog.
Here’s a video of that moment:
And with that, the narrative of the small dog began.
“When I saw she wanted to play, I couldn’t say no.” Rouvenat stated, “I reached down and began caressing her.” “She was incredibly adorable and petite!”

Rouvenat discovered that the tiny dog’s name was Esperança and that she’d been out for a walk with her owner when her urge to play with the chance reporter overpowered her.
Yes, Esperança had interrupted Rouvenat’s newscast. She did, however, lighten her day. Rouvenat wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
“I was glad that I was able to provide a little happiness and joy to the folks watching [on television],” she remarked. “The unexpected scenario was a lot of pleasure for me.”
