This amazing scene occurred as a herd of more than 50 elephants in Thailand stopped traffic to cross a roadway. The gorgeous creature was gently crossing the road, and drivers were in awe of what they were witnessing.

After the elephant family had been located earlier that day by a squad of park rangers, a police force was sent to the area to ensure that they would arrive in the bush securely. One of the drivers managed to get a picture of the amazing spectacle!

It didn’t take too long until the herd crossed the road. In less than 40 seconds, the elephants lead by their strong matriarch, made it on the other side of the road, into a wild area. The elephant family, including young calves, gave the people that have gathered there, a sight to behold.

“More than 50 wild elephants crossed the highway. They were moving together from one part of the jungle to the other,” said Pratya Chutipat Sakul, who filmed the moment. “The wildlife officers had been following the elephants for the last few days.”

After keeping an eye on the elephants for a few days, wildlife officials and park rangers concluded their only option was to cross the road, so they immediately alerted the appropriate authorities to ensure everyone’s safety.

According to Sakul, who spoke to MailOnline, “when rangers observed that their trail was approaching near the road, they summoned the police and swiftly stopped the road.” “Policemen showed up to make sure the elephants passed safely and without incident.

“Nobody minds waiting for the elephants, as the most important thing is that they’re safe. They were all so calm and barely noticed the humans. I feel very lucky to have seen such an amazing sight.”
