Each morning, Louie eagerly anticipates its arrival. The 8-month-old tiny Australian shepherd loves his crucial duty of waking up his favorite sons for school.

And if you ask Louie’s parents, he makes the morning rush a bit less stressful and a lot more interesting.

Chadd Morabito, Louie’s father, told The Dodo that the ritual started around two months ago. My three and five-year-old sons have sound machine timers, and when they go off, it signals it’s time to start waking up. However, they don’t pay attention to it.

Louie, on the other hand, is attentive and soon realized that the sound indicated it was time to get up.

Now when their sound machine goes off in the morning, “[he] will go to their door as soon as it does to deliver kisses and say good morning,” Morabito added.

As the unofficial alarm, Louie takes his job very seriously.

But Louie has other quirks aside from waking his favorite humans. Getting attention is his specialty.

If you have your phone open, he will kiss you by squeezing in between you and the screen, according to Morabito. If you don’t continuously say hello to him, he’ll bark at you. My wife and I get stopped in the middle of conversations by him quite a bit.

Morabito doesn’t mind the eccentricities of the lively shepherd, who also enjoys being cradled like a baby and bouncing on the trampoline with the youngsters.

Morabito declared, “Louie has truly made me very happy. He is always there to make my boys’ and my days better and is so attentive to our needs.
