Daisy, a loving Chihuahua, has been bringing smiles to her owners’ faces every day for well over a decade.
When it came time to celebrate Daisy’s 15th birthday, her family pondered long and hard about how to make her grin even bigger.
Daisy’s owner, Tracy Nguyen, told The Dodo, “We knew we wanted to throw her a nice quinceaera.” “In honor of her incredible life and as an homage to her ancestry!”
Daisy’s family went to great lengths to ensure Daisy’s special day was one to remember.
That was undeniably the case.
Daisy’s relatives and friends gathered to surprise her, and the house was specially decorated for the occasion. It was their opportunity to show Daisy how much she meant to them.
“We could all see she was feeling the love,” stated Nguyen.
But no birthday party would be complete without a cake, of course. And for that, the family had something truly special in-store.
Rather than getting Daisy just any ordinary birthday cake, the family commissioned one just for her, complete with Daisy’s lovely picture.
She was enamored with him.
“When we brought out the cake for her special moment, her eyes welled up with tears and she was so happy,” Nguyen said.
Daisy, who is now a senior dog, maybe getting on in years. That didn’t stop her from savoring every moment of the festivities that had been arranged for her.
“She had a great time!” says the narrator Nygren said.
The celebration was a huge success in the end. Daisy was overjoyed to be surrounded by so much love and attention from those she cared about the most.
It wouldn’t be the same without her family.
“Daisy is the center of our family, and we’ve been so happy for so many years to have such a fantastic, humorous, chunky, and loving companion in our life,” Nguyen said. “With all of our hearts, we adore her.”
