It could appear to be a minor gesture to some people.
But there’s no denying how much it meant to this chilly, lonely pup.
Fernando Gabriel and his brother Felipe were preparing to board the metro in So Paulo, Brazil, the other day. But as Felipe went to buy the tickets, he noticed someone.
According to Gabriel, The Dodo, he noticed a puppy trembling in the cold. The coldest day of the year was that day.
Gabriel, though, watched puzzled as his brother started to strip.
Gabriel added, “I saw my brother pulling his rucksack off his back and starting recording. “He kept going. He removed his sweater and overcoat and put his shirt on the dog, who was really chilly. He just did it on the spot. It moved me a lot.

Felipe didn’t think anybody would notice his wonderful deed, but his brother’s video has since gained popularity.
Gabriel subsequently remarked, “I seldom ever post anything on my feed. However, it merits sharing.
He handed the dog a shirt, which turned out to be one of his favorites, and Felipe said, “It looks better on him.”
Later on, while passing through the station again on their return trip, Felipe and his brother looked for the dog with the intention of taking him home with them. But by then, the pup had moved on — a little warmer, no doubt, thanks to the shirt, and the love shown to him.
Felipe told The Dodo he regrets not being able to do more for the dog that day, but that he still hopes others might take inspiration to help others like him.
“There is no way to change the world — but for the things in your reach, you can,” he said.
