Budweiser’s Clydesdales are quite charming once we get used to them. Even more heartwarming, though, is this ad with the well-known horses as the primary protagonists. The cause? A cute little foal who wants to provide a helping hand, that is.

Even though he’s nearly one-year-old, the little one thinks he’s ready to help pull the Budweiser wagon with the rest of the Clydesdales. Nonetheless, at some point, the foal seems to have some doubts about his strength and his ability to do it, but he won’t give up trying (a lesson we should all learn).

The independent little kid finds the wagon and climbs into his harness after setting off on his own. It’s much too big, but he doesn’t care and struggle to pull the big red cart. He is obviously not making progress, yet he persists.

Fortunately, his diligence gets the attention of the mature horses. He gets a gentle push out the door when they realize what’s going on.

Finally, with some extra help, the tenacious foal manages to pull the wagon and his confidence reaches the sky.

In a cute way, this advertisement conveys a strong message: you shouldn’t give up no matter what. When everyone stops, just keep moving. You’ll undoubtedly succeed since the odds will finally go in your favor. This advertisement, despite being outdated, is still one of Budweiser’s greatest!
