Around 5 years old, Cachito has grown to be a vital member of his family. His owner made the decision to paint a mural of Cachito on the exterior of their home as a way to express their love for him.
The family’s home in Mexico was painted with a mural that features Cachito standing in the entryway of a house with a red door adjacent to a large patch of grass and trees.
Now, Cachito enjoys sitting outside next to his artwork and taking in the passing scenery. Everyone who passes likes seeing Cachito next to his owner’s piece of art, and he enjoys saying hello to all of his neighbors as well.
Cachito’s knowledge of the mural’s significance is so obvious to everyone in the area that skeptics may argue that he cannot possible know it.
“He is friendly to people passing by,” Alberto Gallardo Vazquez, Cachito’s neighbor, told The Dodo. “I think he notices it because he hangs a lot around it.”
There are lots of ways to celebrate how much we love our dogs — but Cachito’s family definitely found one of the best ways ever.
