Some canines travel with a unique item with them at all times. When Marley, a young puppy, first saw a toy strawberry while shopping with his mother, he was completely smitten.
Marley exhibited no hesitance in selecting the toy and making it apparent to her mother that she wanted it; naturally, her mother bought it for her. It quickly became her favorite toy.
Marley played with her small strawberry stuffed animal for more than a year; it had grown to be a really significant item to him and he cherished it.
The strawberry was so significant that Hayley Martin’s mother took a strawberry to one of her heroes, Pentatonix vocalist Kirstin Maldonado, to present to her own dog.
She hoped that her dog would like the stuffed animal as much as Marley did, she thought there was a special connection between the strawberry and dogs.
Unfortunately, after Marley spent more than a year playing with the strawberry, it wore out a lot and Hayley had to throw it away.
Hayley told The Dodo :
“The last adventures of the toy was when it got soaked and covered in mud, and when I washed it I couldn’t save it.”
Marley’s mother went out right away to get another strawberry that was comparable to the first one, but she was heartbroken to learn that it had been discontinued.
She wanted to do something for Marley because he is a certified autistic service dog and works extremely hard to help his mother.
She started searching online to see if anyone knew where she could locate a strawberry teddy because getting her one was her top goal.
Fortunately, Hayley’s post was seen by the manager of the store that was selling the stuffed animal and he quickly contacted her.
The manager told Marley’s mom that there was a chance to get her two strawberry stuffed animals, so they were excited.
Finally the package arrived at the house, they uncovered the box with enthusiasm and got a surprise, there weren’t two strawberries, there were 20.
Marley and Hayley both expressed excitement and disbelief when they first noticed the abundance of strawberries. They were both delighted to receive the present.
Hayley had said:
Marley was taken aback. unsure about what to do Despite his excitement, he was really kind about it. He went through them one by one for an hour, prodding each one to make them squeal!
With 20 strawberry stuffed animals, Marley was undoubtedly ecstatic, and his mother was relieved that she would never run out of her child’s favorite toy.
Marley does a lot for her mom, and she wants to thank her for that whenever she can, making sure she always has her stuffed animal, it’s the best gift she could ever receive.
