There aren’t many playgrounds hidden among the trees in the forest. Certainly none that one may identify as playgrounds.
The woodland seems very differently from a bear’s perspective. In fact, some artistic bear cubs have shown that anything can be a slide if you’re imaginative enough.
Recently, bear brothers Ash and Riley, along with their friend Billie, were playing in the woods when they discovered a rock face that doubled as an amazing slide. Unfortunately for Riley, Ash doesn’t always give a warning when he’s about to head face first down the rock.
You can watch that hilarious moment here:
The Kilham Bear Center in New Hampshire is home to the rescued bears. The 27 bears in the center, including the cubs, will be cared for and watched over there until they are 18 months old and able to be released back into the wild.
After being abandoned by their mother when somebody disturbed their lair, Ash, Riley, and Billie all made their way to the center.
Fortunately, these tough cubs now have a secure environment in which to develop and play.
“They are affectionate, fun-loving and intelligent beings who like to create all sorts of hijinks,” a representative from The Kilham Bear Center told The Dodo.
These bear cubs will eventually have all the necessary experience to go out and live their own lives. The world is their playground while they wait.
