Tofu has always been a loud, feisty dog, but the beach brings out her crazy side even more.
“She’ll rush around and bark like a maniac,” Tofu’s mother, Ashleigh MacPherson, told The Dodo. “It appears that the beach is her favorite spot to visit.”
Tofu loves the beach so much that as soon as she gets there, she can’t stop jumping around for joy — literally. Tofu leaps high up into the air over and over again, and it’s quite the sight to see.
“People we passed on our stroll would light up with excitement when they saw her happy,” MacPherson added.
While most people like seeing Tofu and her unusual hopping, her canine companions aren’t so convinced.
“My second dog wanted to join in, but she didn’t have the same leaping talents,” MacPherson added. “The other canines with whom we were strolling appeared perplexed by this wild, leaping, noisy, ginger fox-looking dog.”
Tofu’s jumping is a little out of the ordinary, but it makes her unique, and eventually the other dogs around her get used to it. She just loves the beach so much, and jumping in the air is her way of showing it.
Tofu is ecstatic every time her mother brings her to the beach, and her bouncing is nearly a thank you for allowing her to visit her favorite spot.
