Cheyenne Tyler Berry was doing dishes one day when she noticed something outside the kitchen window, which later captured her attention and captivated her heart.
There was an elderly guy and his small dog quietly wandering along the sidewalk. They seemed to be just out for a stroll.
But they qu
ickly became friends while Berry watched from a distance.
Berry’s first observation from her window was the dog, who appeared to be in a very happy mood.
According to Berry, “He was bouncing and becoming enthusiastic.”
She walked to get a closer look and saw that the orange cat belonging to her neighbor, George, had captured the pup’s attention while perched on a little wall.
Rather than nudge the dog away, however, his owner did quite the opposite. He lifted the dog up to make friends with George.

For the two animals out enjoying their day, the contact was only fleeting, but Berry won’t soon forget that beautiful exchange of delight.
Berry expressed her emotions in an online post, saying, “It made me weep up because I was amazed I got to watch such a wonderful moment in person” Since then, I haven’t stopped grinning.
