Damodaran Nair, also known in his community as Omanchetan, looked after helpless elephants for nearly six decades.

He loved all these special creatures more than anything, but with one in particular, the caring man shared a bond beyond understanding. Between him and the elephant named Pallata Brahmadathan it was like a father and son relationship.

Damodaran, 74, tragically died away a few days ago. His desire to visit his old pal one final time was among his dying desires. Sadly, his request was not granted, but the obedient elephant did come to bid his human best buddy one last farewell.

The elephant makes a heartfelt farewell appearance at Damodaran’s home in a beautiful video! Everyone there, including the Brahmadathan handler, burst into tears at that very moment.

The guy told MailOnline, “When Brahmadathan lumbered to the burial I couldn’t handle it.” “They were completely in love with each other!”
