In a recent college football game, Arizona State took on USC. The evening’s highlight, though, had nothing to do with athletics at all.
A fox is the recipient of this award.
The wild animal came onto the field about 12 minutes into the first quarter, bringing the game to a screeching halt.
Fortunately, the fox ultimately left as swiftly as he’d arrived, making his way out of the stadium on his own amid the noise of the crowd.
The fox’s appearance in front of the camera was brief, but it was an experience neither the audience nor the fox will soon forget. Or, to put it another way, as one sports commentator put it:
“He’s got a story to tell his squad,” says the narrator.
