Abraham Medina noticed something he couldn’t ignore on a dark and stormy night in Mexico.
A possum was stranded on a flooded street and in desperate need of assistance. Medina didn’t think twice before offering one.
Rather than seeking refuge from the storm, Medina took the opposite approach. He dashed into the downpour, ripped off his shirt, and scooped up the trapped animal with it.
Medina then dragged the possum to higher ground as his buddies watched on in disbelief.
Though the kind gesture cost Medina just a moment of his time (and whatever dryness he had left), for the possum it no doubt meant the world to have someone care enough to stop and help.
