Keira Mamakwa was having a busy day the other day, completing several duties around her house in Ontario, Canada. Driving to the local dump to drop off some trash was one of her errands.
It was then that she noticed someone who seemed to be having a more relaxed day.
This guy had discovered a gem among all that junk.
Pulling into the dump, Mamakwa noticed a random bear who’d emerged from the surrounding wilderness. Evidently, he’d come in search of a cozy spot to chill — which, sure enough, he’d found with little trouble.
As it just so happens, another visitor had recently tossed out a perfectly good mattress.
And the bear wasn’t about to let it go to waste.
While Mamakwa watched in awe, the bear nestled in, unconcerned about anything.
The bear was enjoying some “me” time. (And it appears that he required it.)
“I thought it was hilarious,” Mamakwa told The Dodo.
Mamakwa’s job at the dump was done in no time, and she had to move on to the next task. The bear, on the other hand, appeared to be contemplating a longer visit.
He was well on his way to catching a few Zs by then, and he was making Mamakwa’s day in the process.
“It was thrilling to witness,” she remarked.
