The memory of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, lives on today, with his face appearing on memorials, monuments, and, of course, currency.
However, it does not play fetch, which is a shame.
Just ask Nova, the puzzled puppy. She encountered Lincoln as a statue and couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t toss the Frisbee for her.

Nova was out and about with her owner in Texas when everything happened. Nova’s urge to play with a stranger, however, was not unique to the encounter (or lack thereof).
“She can’t get enough of playing Frisbee, and she picks victims of all shapes and sizes to play with.” “Even this good ole Abraham Lincoln statue,” Nova’s proprietor told ViralHog. “She is a natural at attracting attention, but Abe maintained his stone-cold stare and continued to ignore her.”
Sorry for the inconvenience, Nova. He couldn’t possibly have meant anything by it.
