After 20 years, this mountain lion has finally been let free thanks to Animal Defenders International and their amazing rescue.
In Peru, wild animals are not permitted in circuses. Many circuses, on the other hand, demonstrate complete disregard for the law and continue to keep wild animals in cages. This is precisely what occurred in the case of this mountain lion.
Mufasa was forced to spend 20 years chained up. Fortunately, Animal Defenders International’s mission was to save all captive animals from the Peruvian circuses. And thankfully, so they did. Thanks to their firm determination, Mufasa was the last wild animal to be rescued.
Mufasa, on the other hand, was in no condition to be released into the wild because he had been chained his whole existence. As a result, he was sent to a refuge in the Peruvian wilderness, where he was enclosed.
Here, the cute creature may finally enjoy its independence!
