The Real Deer Isn’t Having It Lawn Ornament by Rudolph

According Christmas mythology, all of the other reindeer finally came around to welcome Rudolph, the red-nosed herdmate who had been spurned.

When a genuine deer ran upon a Rudolph the reindeer lawn ornament in Arlene Chmelyk’s front yard in Canada the other day, he didn’t exactly squeal with delight.

Chmelyk writes, “Rudolph received a s— kicking.”

Here’s some footage from that less-than-pleasant encounter:

This isn’t the first time a real-life animal has expressed dissatisfaction with its inanimate equivalent. Thankfully, the individual engaged in this case appears to have suffered no long-term consequences.

Rudolph has been knocked down, yet his nose continues to sparkle. What about the genuine deer? He dashed away, disappearing from view.

However, the moment they met will undoubtedly go down in history.
