Animals do not have a voice. This might explain why certain animals (domesticated and wild) are mistreated. They are living beings, and they are entitled to a regular existence as well. Instead of unclean and cramped cages, wild animals belong in the wild. It’s such a horrible and inhumane thing to keep them in captivity!

Sook Throughout her captivity, Jai was sold to various owners. She was obliged to work in a variety of vocations, ranging from tourist trekking to street begging. As she grew older, this had a negative impact on her health. The elephant eventually lost much of her hearing and vision.

It’s a heartbreaking story. Animals in the wild should never be treated in such a cruel manner. They like living in the outdoors, despite the fact that they may be threatened by nature (and humans).

Sook Chai was saved in time by Elephant Nature Park, a Northern Thailand-based elephant rescue and rehabilitation organization. She was relocated to the sanctuary and was able to spend her days here quietly and peacefully.

The zoo’s personnel eventually discovered several injuries on the ancient elephant’s head and body. They show that she was abused throughout her life. She refused to eat since she was so weary and drained. The unfortunate critter had never expected to be saved and given a second shot at life.

During the lengthy journey, the rescue crew did everything they could to make the elephant feel at ease. When it was cold, they kept the vehicle warm, and when it was hot, they cooled the animal down.

Sook Chai seemed to perceive those people’s honesty and friendliness. Tears welled up in the eyes of the elderly elephant. Her tears were seen pouring down her face by the zoo’s workers. Everyone’s hearts were broken by this beautiful yet heartbreaking spectacle. It is never simple to save animals, but their efforts are well worth it. These unfortunate creatures will finally be able to enjoy their lives as they should.

“Sook Jai was fortunate enough to be discovered by a kind individual who wished to assist her in changing her life. Joan Baez got lucky twice when she decided to let SookJai enjoy a cruelty-free life for the rest of her life.”
