It’s not uncommon to see your neighbors’ dogs on your doorstep, but one man was taken aback when he opened his front door and spotted a newborn deer looking at him.
At the very least, he resides in British Columbia, where animal encounters are rather regular. Even for someone who lives here, a fawn pounding on your door can be a little too much.
However, for Corey S from Maple Ridge, a situation like this is as delightful as it sounds. When the guy heard an odd noise coming from his front porch, he went inside. He went to investigate, but the loveliest surprise awaited him when he opened the door.
A day-old fawn stood right in front of him, looking at him. No one could ever resist such sweetness, especially Corey’s heart, which melted instantaneously.
But it wasn’t simply the presence of the small deer that was so nice. When the lovely creature began to ‘speak,’ the scenario became much nicer.
Her adorable sound was almost too much to bear! Fortunately, the fortunate man captured the wonderful sight on his iPhone and published it online. As you can expect, it didn’t take long for millions of people to fall in love with the brief film, and I’m confident you’ll be one of them!
“I was inside and heard a strange noise, so I eventually opened the door, and I must say it surprised me…” the guy commented on YouTube. “I swear it understands what I’m saying… When I attempt to pull away, it insists on being heard. ‘Did you see my mother? ‘I’m starving.’ Turn up the volume and pay attention!”
