A Man Saved A Seriously Injured Fox And Made A New Best Friend In The Meantime

Cropper, a red fox found on the side of the road near Turnbridge Wells, England, was saved by The Fox Project. The rescue could not allow him return to the wild since he was terribly damaged and unwell (toxoplasmosis).

As a result, they only had two options: put him down or find him a home. Finding a home for a wild animal, on the other hand, was extremely difficult. Everything was stuck until retired engineer Mike Trowler came.

Mike said that he was impressed by fox behavior and spent his time dealing with them. For this reason, Mike took Cropper home and nursed him back to health. In addition to taking care of injured foxes, he also helps orphaned fox cubs and fosters them until they can be come back into the wild.

Cropper was cared for by Mike’s patience, love, and tenacity during his stay at his new home, and he became a member of Mike’s family. He liked to snuggle up with Mike and steal food from the dog’s bowl. He also liked to play with the cats.

The two established an odd bond immediately, and their extraordinary story is shown in the video below.

Below is a video of Mike and Cropper.

Cropper passed over the rainbow bridge in 2007, following six wonderful years with Mike. Then Mike’s house was invaded by another fox named Jack.

Despite the fact that Jack is a wild animal, he is really gentle and charming. He enjoys watching television with Mike and bathing in the sink.

Mike believes that foxes should only be kept as pets if they have health issues and are unable to return to the wild. He also adds that raising foxes requires a lot of patience and an understanding of their nature.
