Cachito is about 5 years old and has grown to be a vital member of his family. His owner chose to paint a mural of Cachito on the exterior of their house to convey their affection for him.
The mural painted on the family’s home in Mexico depicts a house with a red entrance adjacent to a grassy and tree-filled region, with Cachito standing at the doorway.
Cachito’s current favorite pastime is to sit outside beside his mural and watch the world go by. Cachito enjoys meeting all of his neighbors, and everyone who walks by admires his owner’s piece of art.
Skeptics would argue that Cachito has no idea the mural is for him, yet it’s evident to everyone in the area that he does.
“He is friendly to people passing by,” Alberto Gallardo Vazquez, Cachito’s neighbor, told The Dodo. “I think he notices it because he hangs a lot around it.”
There are lots of ways to celebrate how much we love our dogs — but Cachito’s family definitely found one of the best ways ever.
